Triton Knoll Offshore Windfarm

AMTEC provided commissioning resource for protection relay FAT (Factory Acceptance Test) for the Triton Knoll project using Omicron test routines to prove correct application of settings/logic to the client as per design. We then followed the project through to the build stage in Antwerp where we commissioned all electrical systems and through to successful energisation of both 220/66kV offshore substations.
132kV Bredbury GIS upgrade

AMTEC provided commissioning personnel to facilitate the upgrade of 11 AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) circuits to 11 GIS (Gas Insulated Switchgear) bays. This consisted of 3 x 132kV Incomers and 8 x 132kV feeder circuits including all associated control, protection and SCADA systems.
Blackhillock Onshore Substation & Beatrice Offshore Windfarm

AMTEC provided commissioning resource for 400kV/220kV/33kV Onshore Blackhillock substation and also for 220kV/33kV Beatrice offshore windfarm. The scope involved commissioning of all HV/MV/LV primary plant including all associated control, protection and SCADA systems on behalf of Siemens Energy. All tests were carried out and witnessed to client specification and associated test sheets added to the commissioning file for client sign off.
Rampion Offshore Windfarm

AMTEC provided client representatives to oversee the electrical installation and commissioning of the 150/33kV offshore substation for Rampion offshore windfarm. This included monitoring contractors work in the fabrication yard and offshore to ensure all installation and commissioning were carried out to client specification.
